FENCING CLUB
In the first club of its type in Clarksville, students learn Olympic-style sport fencing vocabulary and terminology as well as safety, etiquette, and behavior on and off the strip. Each meeting starts with a half hour classroom session and wraps up with an hour of practical fencing footwork and bladework. Students are taught the basics of foil fencing, and after proving competence of that weapon may progress on to sabre and epee, which require advanced studies.
