Chess and Board Club
The Chess and Board Game club is open to all students and meets every Friday from 2:30 – 4:00 pm. We play all sorts of board games, including Risk, Monopoly, Uno Attack, Strategy, and many more. We also play chess and if you don’t know how, we can teach you. This is a fun club and gives you a chance to meet a lot of new people and to have fun after school.

We do a production a semester and we meet on Tuesdays and sometimes Thursdays as the performance date nears. The club is inclusive of 6-8 grade and is a fun way to learn about the theater as you play your part in bringing the production to life. The first informational meeting will be August 21, listen for the announcement for more information.

First Lego League (Robotics Club)
We are looking for students who are curious, interested in science and math, and willing to commit to at least two days a week after school.
Homework Helper
Open to all grades! This club is designed to help students complete their daily homework. A quiet place is provided as well as teacher assistance, if needed.

Math Team
This club works all year long practicing math problems in preparation for the annual math competition at Austin Peay State University. This club is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Sponsor: Tiffani Bowers ACCELERATED MATH CLUB (AM CLUB: 6th grade only. This club is designed to help sixth grade students master math objectives to further their AM progress. Sponsors: Saranne Chambers & Toyna Hedrick 4-H Club: All 6th graders are welcome to join! There will be two meeting a month. There are many project related activities as well as the opportunity to attend camp each summer.

National Junior Honor Society
Induction of 6th graders is at the end of the school year. To become a member of the NJHS, you must have a 93% average for the first three nine weeks and get recommended by your teachers. Teacher recommendations are based on good attitude and exemplary behavior. The NJHS does not hold club meetings so staying after school should not be a worry.

This is a is a civic/school organization that participates in fund raisers to help the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, the Human Society, Cystic Fibrosis, etc. In addition, to helping various organizations, the club assists with school, teacher, and student needs that arise throughout the year. The students must maintain a "C" average and have no more than 15 discipline points to be a member. We sponsor a couple of dances throughout the school year, sell candy grams, and participate in the Fall Festival to raise money for the club.

This club is designed to develop student leaders. The goals include helping students, our community, and the world. The club sponsors many events, dances, concerts, and anything that may come up that is good for the school and/or community. Open to all grades. Wildfire Club
Everyone is welcome! Students encourage one another in their faith. They share favorite Bible verses, personal experiences, and songs that have inspired them. They pray for each other and talk about ways to grow in their faith while becoming productive NPMS citizens. We meet every other week right after school until 3:15 in Mrs. Mathis' room. Just listen for an announcement and come check it out!

Writing Club
Writing Club is open to all students who love to write or want to be a better writer. Each student will have his/her own private blog site to perfect his/her writing. We help each other with ideas, editing, topics, and style. In this club you get to write about what you want to write about. We meet the first and third Tuesday of the month.
