MISSION STATEMENT AND BELIEFS
OUR MISSION AT KENWOOD ELEMENTARY IS TO DEVELOP A COMMUNITY OF LEARNERS BY EMPOWING ALL STUDENTS TO REACH THEIR POTENTIAL
The mission is supported by the beliefs stated below:
We believe in a clean, safe, orderly school to maintain an environment conducive to learning.
We believe all children are capable of learning to the best of their abilities.
We believe parents, faculty, staff, and community must work together to help children succeed.
We believe in a variety of teaching methods that will meet the individual needs of each child.
We believe learning is a lifelong responsibility.
We believe literacy is essential and all children can learn to read.
Vision Statement
Our vision is for children to become literate, responsible, and productive citizens with high
self-esteem who are able to face future challenges.
