DISMISSAL TIMES
The following dismissal times will be observed for the 2010-11 school year. Car riders - 2:40 (M-Th), Friday dismissal at 2:45 Walkers - 2:45 Vans and YMCA - 2:50 Buses - 2:55

BACK TO SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS
We are thrilled to be the pilot for the STEM program (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). We at Moore Magnet are honored to be selected as the pilot school for our children. We will implement the STEM theme throughout our building. For our students, we will Seize The Educational Moment each day; therefore; beginning Tuesday, August 10, 2010, students will be counted absent or tardy at 8:01 a.m. Classes will begin at 8:15 a.m. Our hours are from 8:00-3:00. The doors will open at 7:30 a.m. At this time, students may go to the cafeteria. Beginning at 7:50 a.m., students will report to the classrooms. It is our philosophy that every minute counts in our instructional day. We realize this is a change, but appreciate your support as we strive each day to provide your children a quality education.

WANTED: USED CELL PHONES AND INK CARTRIDGES
Moore Magnet School has found a way to supplement our finances to get technology materials but your help is needed. We are recycling used cell phones, inkjet and laser cartridges. Please help us by donating any items you may have. All items may be dropped off in the technology lab. Thank you for your help.
