Mission Statement: The mission of Norman Smith Elementary School is to provide a data driven curriculum that is rigorous and relevant which enables all students to achieve academic success.
Prioritized List of Goal Targets
1. By the year 2008-2009, overall NCE gains in Math will improve by 2 NCE points as measured by the TVAAS School Report TCAP CRT.
2. Close the gap between regular education and special education in all subject areas by increasing the percentage of special education proficiency by 5% each year as measured by the AYP Indicators.
3. By the year 2008-2009, overall NCE gains in Science will improve by 2 NCE points as measured by the TVAAS School Report TCAP CRT.
