2/27/2010 Miss Black Clarksville Scholarship Program
The Miss Black Clarksville scholarship program 2010 will be held on Saturday, February 27 at Emmanuel Life Center on Fairview lane in Clarksville. The scholarship awards $1,000 to the first place winner, $800 to the first runner-up and $700 to the second runner up. This scholarship is open to African-American girls who are seniors, have at least a 2.5 GPA, are not married, and do not have children. If you’re interested, take your application to the required photo shoot at St. John’s Baptist Church at 4:00 this Sunday. (Four o’clock for makeup and 5:00 for photos.)
2/26/2010 Blood Drive at CHS
Been looking for a way to help your community? Look no further the annual CHS blood drive will be held on Friday, Feb. 26th. If you are 17 or 18 and are interested in donating see Ms. Roberts in room J136 for more information. The deadline to sign up is Friday, Feb. 12th.
2/19/2010 NEW date for the Snow Ball
Snow Ball has been rescheduled for Friday, February 19 at 8:00. Tickets will be on sale in the cafeteria on the 17th, 18th, and 19th. If you purchased your tickets earlier, hold onto them!
