Scholarship Opportunity for Students
The Tennessee Financial Literacy Commission (a program of the Tennessee Treasury Department) has partnered with the TNStars 529 College Savings Program to give away two scholarships each worth $5,290 in the form of TNStars College Savings accounts. The names of two winners will be randomly drawn once the scholarship program ends on December 31.
Students in grades 3-8 will need to enter the TNStars Financial Scholars Challenge. Each student will complete an online financial literacy tutorial and will be automatically entered in for the drawing of the other scholarship once they complete the tutorial. Both the K-2 and the 3-8 scholarship programs can be accessed by visiting the TNStars website.
