Clarksville-Montgomery County School System Director of Schools Dr. B. J. Worthington is announcing his retirement as of June 2017

Anticipatory Calls on School Closings and How to Set your Call Preferences in SchoolMessenger
CMCSS will start making anticipatory calls this year in the afternoon or early evening when bad weather is a possibility, giving parents a "heads up" about the possibility of school closing the following day. If schools are closed, the call will be confirmed in the morning. If there is no call, schools will be open.

2017-18 School Year Proposed Rezoning Information
A study of existing school zone lines and school building capacities has been completed and a plan has been developed for the 2017-2018 school year. This initial recommendation was presented to the Board of Education on Nov. 1, 2016 and potentially could impact Northeast, West Creek and Kenwood Middle schools and Northeast, West Creek and Kenwood High schools. If you have concerns, please complete a feedback form, either electronically via the website, a paper form located at the school, or by signing up to speak at the public hearing. Paper feedback forms must be submitted to schools by the morning of December 16. Electronic feedback will be accepted through December 30. All feedback will be considered before the final staff recommendation is developed.

Coyotes it's time to "Step It Up"
Hard to believe the end of the first semester is about 3 weeks away. We have great plans for the last day before the winter break and in order for our students to attend all the events that day they must do all the following. Starting Monday, November 28 until December 16 students can not receive any discipline referrals and no more than two behavior notifications. They must do all their assigned school work and pay all their lunch charges. Please encourage your child to finish strong.

West Creek Middle School Reward Program Policy
As a school we believe in rewarding appropriate behavior for all our students. In order to attend or participate in any after-school reward activities (dance, basketball games, concerts or other after school programs) students can not receive more than four (4) Behavior Notifications or twenty (20) discipline points during the nine weeks that event takes place. This policy starts over each nine (9) weeks.
