Governor Recognizes Four Clarksville Reward Schools
Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam and Education Commissioner Kevin Huffman announced 168 schools as the 2013-14 Reward Schools, the top 5 percent of schools in the state for academic achievement and the top 5 percent for annual growth. Four of those schools are in CMCSS, with the announcement staged at Hazelwood Elementary.
State Releases District Data
The State Department of Education released district level achievement data taken from last spring’s assessments for grades 3-high school. CMCSS remained in the same category as last year, in Need of Improvement.
2014 Cookie Dough Fundraiser
Today (August 27) we kick off our fall fundraiser, we have chosen Otis Spunkmeyer Cookie Dough and Tritan Tumblers Cups as the item we are selling. ALL money from the fundraisers goes back to our students in the form of student prizes we offer in our positive behavior store, student rewards we offer during the year and for instructional supplies used by our students. All orders and money are due on September 5th. We are offering various prizes for our students who participate in this fundraiser. Student Store (The Den)
We are accepting donations of items for our school wide positive behavior store. Students earn "coyote cash" that can be used to buy items such as school supplies, head phones, various gift cards, etc. Donations can be dropped off in the front office. Thanks for your support.
