Governor Recognizes Four Clarksville Reward Schools
Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam and Education Commissioner Kevin Huffman announced 168 schools as the 2013-14 Reward Schools, the top 5 percent of schools in the state for academic achievement and the top 5 percent for annual growth. Four of those schools are in CMCSS, with the announcement staged at Hazelwood Elementary.
State Releases District Data
The State Department of Education released district level achievement data taken from last spring’s assessments for grades 3-high school. CMCSS remained in the same category as last year, in Need of Improvement.
High School Transcript Requests Information
2013 Graduates will be able to pick up their transcripts at the school system central office records department during normal summer business hours.
Financial Aid Information
James Snider will be in the MCHS Theater on Thursday, September 4th from 6:30 until 7:30. He will discuss Financial Aid and have information on the new Tennessee Promise Program. Seniors and their parents are welcome.
MCHS Football Tailgating
All MCHS fans are invited to come out before each home football game to tailgate. Get there early to set-up and show your support for our football team.
