State Board Launches Social Studies Standards Public Review Website
The Tennessee State Board of Education launched a review website to collect public feedback on Tennessee’s grade K-12 social studies standards.
Harry potter is coming to Clarksville!
The wizardly world of Harry Potter is making an appearance at the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library on Feb. 4 from 5 to 7 p.m. It’s free fun and the kids get to interact with other fans and make crafts to take home.
2016-2017 Pre-School Application Dates
CMCSS will be accepting applications for the 2016-2017 school year in March. Children must be 4 years old before or on Aug. 15, 2016 (birth date must be between Aug. 16, 2011 and Aug. 15, 2012) and live in Montgomery County. A copy of the documents listed below must be presented before receiving the application packet.
1. Official Birth Certificate
2. Up-to-date Physical and Shot Record on the TN shot Certificate
3.2 Proof of Residency - Parents or guardian must provide 2 of the following items listed: Most recent CEMC, CDE, or CG&W bill; Mortgage or Deed; Lease/Rental Contract. If a parent/guardian lives with someone you must bring a notarized letter from the people you are staying with and 2 of the above documents.
4. Verification of current income for all adults in the household (2 different official documents/sources).
