Social Studies Standards Feedback Sought
The Tennessee Department of Education is soliciting feedback on its social studies standards through Oct. 28. Changes to the standards will take effect for the 2019-20 school year.
CMCSS 2nd Annual Robot Rodeo
On Oct. 1 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., robotics teams from across the district will display their work, compete in the Robot Rodeo, and perform collaborative demonstrations with the Middle Tennessee Bomb Squad.
Bullying Awareness Program
C.H.E.S. will once again be hosting its after-school bullying program. The program is designed to help 4th and 5th grade students identify the different roles of bullying. Parents must provide transportation and sign and return the permission slip by September 30th. The boys' program will be on October 19th from 3:30-5:00. The girls' program will be on October 21st from 3:30-5:00.
Yearbooks can be purchased at C.H.E.S. till September 30th at a cost of $25. You may also order online by clicking the above blue "yearbooks" headline.
Please remember to save your Boxtops this school year. We would love to see C.H.E.S. as the top earner in our school district! The class that turns the most in will receive a special reward.
