Freshman Orientation Information 2015-2016
Freshmen Orientation is an opportunity for incoming freshmen students to become acclimated with the high school setting. CMCSS High Schools hold times in July and August for freshmen.

New Pre-K Opportunities Offered
Another opportunity for parents of students eligible for the CMCSS Pre-Kindergarten program begins in May.

PowerSchool Log-in Information Available
You can see your student's academic progress every week on PowerSchool. If you have not yet created a PowerSchool parent account, we encourage you to do so. To create a Parent Account visit: powerschool.cmcss.net. Please note: to create your account, you’ll need a set of access codes for each of your students. If your email is on file at the school, you will automatically have access codes emailed to you. If not, please stop by the front office, with your ID, and we can print those off for you. Both parent and student mobile apps are available free at iTunes for the iPhone and on Google Play for android phones. We hope you will take advantage of this free access. State Speech and Drama League Competition
Marcus Steele competed in the State Speech and Drama League Competition this past weekend. Over 300 other students from across the state competed. Marcus came in 7th in the state in pantomime! He did a brilliant job. Congratulations!

Several Students Sign to Play College Ball
Over the past couple weeks, Northwest has had a couple students sign to play college ball. Elijah McCoin, Jaryan Young, and Marice Wright all signed to play basketball at Wsyne County Community College Detroit in Michigan. Markel Kea signed to play football at Maryville College. Finally, Veronica and Natalie Schilling signed to play softball at Roane State.
