Zoning Plan for Oakland Presented
A detailed study of existing school zone lines and school building capacities has been completed and the input of school system specialists in the departments of Operations, Instruction, Transportation, Technology and Communications have developed the following elementary zoning plan for the 2015-2016 school year.

Holiday Gift Certificates for a Yearbook
Parents, do you need one more gift for your child over the holidays? Consider purchasing a yearbook for your child at Click on the link to get a gift certificate that you can put in their stocking to let them know they have one reserved when they're passed out in May

Senior Parents/Guardians
FAFSA WORKSHOP (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) This is the official application that most colleges and universities use to determine eligibility for federal aid, including grants and loans. The FAFSA is also the application for the TN Education Lottery Scholarship! Friday, January 16th 8am-12pm by appointment only there will be a Financial Aid Specialist on hand to assist you in completing your student's FAFSA that very day. You will be meeting with your specialist in the computer lab and will be able to ask them questions specific to your situation. The process should take approximately 30 minutes. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of this great opportunity. Please complete the form being mailed to you and return it to the Counseling Center by Friday December 19th.

The Yale Young Global Scholars Program
Attention Sophomores and Juniors: The Yale Young Global Scholars Program is a two-week academic enrichment and leadership training program for talented high school students from around the world, who live and study on the Yale campus during the summer. Students currently in 10th or 11th grade are eligible to apply. See Mrs. Perry for more information
