  Cross Country Physicals & Practice Schedule

  Graduation Video Streaming
CMCSS will provide live online video streaming of all graduations for families and friends who cannot attend graduations. Please click the link provided to direct you to the CMCSS website information!
  Summer school
Summer School Dates- June 4th to the 21st from 8a to 3p. Registration Dates are May 22 from 1:30 to 6p and May 23 from 12 to 6p. If student’s miss more than 3 days they are removed from the program.
  Sport Physicals Form Download
See the KHS Athletics homepage for a download link to the required sports physicals form. Physicals must be dated AFTER April 14, 2018.
  Sports Physicals Required for Practice
You must get a physical dated AFTER April 14th, 2018 before you can practice for any sport. If you need a form, you can go to tssaa.org and search forms. There you can print a physical form to take to the doctor. Most offices have them but if you want to fill out forms prior you may do so. These forms must be turned into the coach or athletic director before your student may participate in practice. Bring it to practice on the first day.   Graduation Dress Code & Practice information
Seniors & Parents: Please review the dress code and practice information for the 2018 Graduation ceremony. Practice is Tuesday, May 22 @ 8am in the KHS gym and is REQUIRED to walk in the ceremony.

  Rising Seniors 2019
Attention parents of Rising Seniors: Lifetouch and Jostens' need to contact you about Senior portraits, recognition ads, cap and gowns, and yearbook. Please fill out the form by the end of April to guarantee you will get the information you need on all your Senior needs for the fall.   Dual Enrollment
If you have any students who are interested in learning more about dual enrollment through Austin Peay State University, we are holding an event on our main campus on March 19 at 6:30 p.m. in Claxton 216. At this meeting, we will share information about: ? courses available in the spring and fall ? how to enroll in those courses ? funding for dual enrollment Please encourage the students to RSVP by responding to this email address.   National Honor Society
NHS is a nationally-recognized society in which members demonstrate scholarship, leadership, character, and service. Kenwood High School sophomore and junior students who have at least a 93% cumulative average and no discipline referrals will be invited to apply this week. The application will help demonstrate the candidate’s leadership and service. In early April, a 5-member faculty committee will select new inductees from the completed applications. Those selected will be inducted in August or September the following school year.   FINANCIAL AID FOR COLLEGE
FAFSA is FREE application for college financial aide. It is REQUIRED to complete for college admissions. TN Promise students MUST have their FAFSA app completed in JANUARY, 2018. All other college applicants have until May. Parents will need to provide access to 2016 tax returns by creating their own FAFSA account to link to their tax return!
  Anime & Gamers Club Tuesdays 2:30 - 4:30
The club will now meet from 2:30 - 4:30 PM on Tuesdays in the library. Please note the end time change and have transportation on time! All students must sign in at the desk and will not be dismissed into the school. Students will use the outside library entrance to leave.
  Student Laptop Information
Please view the information provided for high school and middle school student laptops. Parents and students must sign the paperwork to be issued the student laptop. Forms are available in the school office. Parents who attended the information meetings should have turned these in on meeting night.
  STUDENT PARKING PERMITS ARE REQUIRED
All CURRENT student drivers are REQUIRED to register to park on school grounds.Students must park in the Stadium Student Lot. Download the application and bring in your driver license, proof of current insurance and registration. $15 for full year. $10 for Gold Card holders. See Mrs. Smith in the Cafeteria during lunches or in the Library Media Center. Parking permits for new drivers will be available all year in the Library Media Center.
