Members of a variety of stakeholder groups, including teachers, students, parents, community and businesses, provided input Tuesday on what they believe is working well in CMCSS; what challenges should be addressed; and the characteristics they would like to see in the next Director of Schools.

TSBA will continue to collect input from Montgomery Countians until noon on Friday via its website: http://www.tsba.net/Services_Products/Superintendent_Searches . Click on the community forum survey download to share thoughts about the next Schools Director.

From this input, TSBA will develop a list of criteria for the successful candidate and will present its findings to the Clarksville-Montgomery County School Board at a special called meeting on Feb. 7. Once adopted as presented or amended, the criteria will be distributed in advertisements and publications soliciting applicants. TSBA plans to present a slate of candidates to th Board on April 3 and interviews would be conducted between April 9 and 13. A selection would likely be made on April 17. The new Director would begin on August 1.
