CMCSS Principal Announcement

Patti Koloski has been selected to serve as the principal of Glenellen Elementary School, replacing Cindy Adams, recently named the principal of Oakland Elementary School.

Koloski’s career in education began as a first grade teacher in Frankfurt, Germany in 1990, and she taught first grade in Fayetteville, North Carolina from 1992-1998. She has 16 years of experience in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System serving as a teacher and academic coach at Norman Smith and Liberty elementary schools.  She has been an assistant principal at Glenellen Elementary School since 2010.  She earned her endorsement in educational leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University, her M.A. in teaching and learning from Nova Southeastern University, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and her B.S. from the University of Florida, in Tampa, Florida.

In response to being selected for the position, Koloski shared, “It has been an honor to serve the faculty and families of Glenellen over the past several years.  I am very proud of their accomplishments and look forward to being a part of their continued growth.”  Koloski will begin her responsibilities as the principal in January 2015.
