CMCSS Graduations

All eight CMCSS high school graduation ceremonies will be in the Dunn Center at Austin Peay State University May 21-23. The ceremonies will be live web streamed by Austin Peay State University at http://graduation.cmcss.net/. Copies of the graduation exercises are available by ordering through the APSU Communications Department.

Northeast Elementary School Principal Selected

Regina Lyle has been selected to serve as the principal of Northeast Elementary School, following Gina Biter’s retirement.  Dr. Lyle has been an assistant principal at Northeast since 2007, serving as the STEM administrator for one year and the interim principal since April.  She began her teaching career with the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System in 1990. In 2007, Dr. Lyle earned her doctorate in educational leadership from Capella University.  She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Austin Peay State University.

High Schools Director, Administrators Selected

Marcus Shawn Heaston has been chosen as the CMCSS High Schools Director, replacing Dr. Bryan Johnson who was named Chief Academic Officer.  Mr. Heaston currently is principal at Tipton County’s Covington High School, which has won the SCORE prize for the past three years and recognized as one of the nation’s top schools by Newsweek and U.S. News and World Report.
