Montgomery County - Practice Test Schedule
The GED Practice Test is available on the following dates at the CMCSS Greenwood Complex Room 218, 430 Greenwood Avenue, Clarksville , Tennessee 37040:
August 26, 2010, 8:15 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
September 9, 2010, 8:15 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
September 27-28, 2010, 5 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
October 7, 2010, 8:15 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
October 25-26, 2010, 5 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
November 4, 2010, 8:15 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
November 22-23, 2010 5 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
December 2, 2010, 8:15 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
January 6, 2011, 8:15 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
January 24-25, 2011, 5 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
February 3, 2011, 8:15 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
February 28-March 1, 2011, 5 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Testing Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years old and currently out of high school
- You must take an Official Practice Test before taking the GED Exam
- You must have a valid photo ID
Additional Requirements
- The Official Practice Test is FREE.
- Daytime testing lasts approximately 5 hours.
- Evening testers must attend both nights to complete a full test. Partial tests will not be scored.
- Parking is at the rear of the building.

Testing Requirements
- You must have a notarized transcript of your Official Practice Test results
- You must have a valid driver's license or TN state ID or Military ID
- You must have a $65 check or money order payable to VSCC (non-refundable)
- You must submit a testing application with at least two test dates circled
Additional Information
- VSCC will mail you a confirmation of your test date once your packet is received. Bring the letter with you to the test.
- Testing lasts approximately 7 1/2 to 8 hours.
- You will receive your results by mail in approximately 2-3 weeks.
- You will receive your diploma by mail directly from the State Department.
