A Letter from the Foundation President
State Representative, Joe Pitts
What does a $1000 scholarship mean to a student who just might be the first in their family to attend college?
What is the value of recognizing a high school student for 4 years of high academic achievement? Can you imagine the imact of giving a family with a child entering kindergarten a “Kinder-Kit”? Can technology enhancements in the classroom make a difference for students?
The Clarksville-Montgomery County Education Foundation works everyday to answer these questions and more. We are not just about money, but we do recognize it takes resources to help our students succeed.
It also takes a partnership among community organizations, the business community, and our school system as we invest the funds we raise directly into programs and initiatives that compliment our outstanding school system.
Please stroll through our new website and learn how you can make a difference in the education experience of students throughout the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System.
After all, nothing is more important than a good education. Thanks for taking an interest in our students’ success.
Sincerely,
Rep. Joe Pitts
