Through our Family School Connection model, CMCSS engages families in ways that support parent involvement and improve student achievement.


Homework Hotline is Open


Homework Hotline provides free tutoring by phone for any Tennessee student. All subjects – many languages.

Call (615) 298-6636 or Sonic toll free (888) 868-5777 Monday – Thursday from 4:00 – 8:00 pm.

If you have a computer and an internet connection they can also Stoodle with you.

PowerSchool


Sign up for PowerSchool today! PowerSchool is the new web-based information tool used across the district that allows you real-time access to your child’s grades, attendance information, and allows you to connect with teachers more easily. PowerSchool replaces K12 Planet, which was used for several years for parents of 6th through 12th graders.

To create a Parent Account visit: powerschool.cmcss.net. Please note: to create your account, you’ll need a set of access codes for each of your students. If your email is on file at the school, you will automatically have access codes emailed to you.

ConnectU!


Connect U! is a network of workshops for parents and guardians with a focus on areas such as academics, health and wellness,personal finance, and continuous development and growth. Connect U! partners with internal district departments, academic institutions, and community organizations to equip families with additional skills, knowledge and resources to better support their children socially and academically.Connect U! workshops are conveniently held at various locations throughout the year. Please check our calendar often.
