Rossview High Business Students Excel Nationally

The U.S. Department of the Treasury announced last week that 10 Rossview High School students who participated in the National Financial Literacy Challenge scored in the top 25th percentile of the nation’s scores. Business teacher Biba Kavass served as advisor to the students.

Students receiving the honor are: Courtney Barnes, Charles Bomberry, Nicholas Harrier, Tristen Horton, Taylor Johnson, Samantha Kuerbitz, Troy Lozano, Kory Miller, William Shackleford, and Seth York.

More than 46,000 students participated in the National Financial Literacy Challenge across the nation. The Challenge is geared to help in the growing movement to better prepare young people for an increasingly complex financial system.
