A 14-year schools administrative veteran, Gina Biter has been chosen as the new principal of St. Bethlehem Elementary School. Biter, who has served as assistant principal at Minglewood Elementary since 1996 and has experience as an assistant principal at Norman Smith, will begin her duties for the 2008-09 school year.
Biter is an experienced educator with advanced degrees in educational leadership. She earned her Education Specialist degree, a Master’s in Administration and Supervision and a Bachelor’s in Education from Austin Peay State University.
“We are fortunate to put in place an experienced and dedicated educational leader who is a champion for children and their families,” said Schools Director Mike Harris.
Biter is a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Professional Educators. She graduated from the Clarksville Police Department Citizens Police Academy, participated in the CMCSS Leadership Academy and has served in a number of education research and leadership roles. She also has been a lead auditor for the CMCSS ISO9001 program.
She replaces Terry Workman, who resigned.
