CMCSS Announces Administrative Appointments

Several administrative appointments are being announced for the new school year.

They include: Rossview High School Assistant Principal Theresa Muckleroy has been appointed as Director of Exceptional Children Services.  The position is responsible for oversight of special education services. She replaces Ted Hausauer who will coordinate the Virtual High School program, a position previously held by Darlene Lovingood, who is relocating to another city.

Theresa MuckelroyMuckleroy earned her doctorate of education from Tennessee State University, her doctorate of jurisprudence from Nashville School of Law and her master’s and education specialist degrees from Austin Peay State University. She will move from her assistant principal position at Rossview High, where she has been since January 2007. She previously served as principal of Rossview Middle School before relocating to Daleville, Al., where she was assistant principal at a high school there.

 

 

Schanda DoughtySchanda Banister-Doughty, who served as West Creek Middle School Assistant Principal, has been granted her request to fill the Rossview High School assistant principalship which is being vacated by Dr. Muckleroy. Banister-Doughty previously served as assistant principal at Rossview High. She earned her master’s in education degree from Austin Peay State University.

 

 

 

Wanda ShakeenabWanda Shakeenab, who has served as principal of Richview Middle School, has been granted her request to fill the assistant principalship at West Creek Middle School. Shakeenab joined CMCSS three years ago as assistant principal at Clarksville High School. Prior to that she worked as a high school curriculum specialist at both Christian County and Hopkinsville High Schools in Christian County, Ky. Prior to that she worked as a high school English teacher and middle school math, language arts, and social studies teacher. She earned her master's degree in the arts of education from the University of Phoenix and she earned her bachelor's degree from Delta State University in Mississippi.
