Clarksville-Montgomery County School System Director of Schools Michael Harris today announced that Dr. Mary Gist has been named principal of Richview Middle School. She joins the CMCSS from Franklin Special School District where she has served as an administrator at Freedom Middle School. She has 22 years of education experience, and earned her doctorate in education from Trevecca Nazarene. A native of Florence, Alabama, Dr. Gist has a background in teaching middle and high school science. She has eight years of middle school administrative experience. She earned her B.S. And M.A. degrees from the University of North Alabama. She will begin her duties at Richview on Monday, Aug. 4.
