The appointment of Melisse J. Cooper to the assistant principalship split between Glenellen and Liberty Elementary Schools is being announced today.

Cooper earned her master of arts in curriculum and instruction from Austin Peay State University and her education specialist degree in educational administration and supervision Ed. S. from Lincoln Memorial University. Her bachelor of arts degree in communications and marketing was earned from David Lipscomb University.

She has been serving as a third grade teacher for 13 years, nine of those years with CMCSS.
