Rossview Elementary Principal Named

Paula FordClarksville-Montgomery County Schools Director Mike Harris has announced the appointment of Paula Ford as the principal of Rossview Elementary School, which opens in August 2009.

Ford has served as principal of Glenellen Elementary School since 2002. She was an assistant principal at Glenellen when the school opened in 1998. She was a classroom teacher for 23 years at St. Bethlehem and Byrns Darden Elementary schools. She earned her Masters in Administration and Supervision from Trevecca Nazarene University.

“Being an educator and principal has provided me with many enriching opportunities,” Ford said.  “I have always worked to be a life long learner and have looked for new ways and new opportunities to expand and grow.  For the past ten years, I have had the privilege of working with the dedicated and hard-working staff at Glenellen.  I will greatly miss my Glenellen family but look forward to helping the elementary Rossview community work and grow to ensure student success.”

A native of Clarksville, Ford, 57, has two sons. She and her husband, Eddie Ford, have five grandchildren.  

Ford will begin her role a Rossview principal in January. The Glenellen principal position will be posted this week.
