Joe Heitz logoClarksville-Montgomery County School System, Joe Heitz Toyota and other commmunity businesses are partnering to increase the number of students who take Advanced Placement courses and pass the exam.

Nearly 250 tudents in the district¹s six high schools who have taken an AP class during high school and scored a 3, 4 or 5 on the exam will be eligible to win a brand new Toyota car and one of 12 laptops.

"We want to recognize those students for working very hard by taking Advanced Placement classes," says Mr. Michael Harris, Director of Schools.

Premier Medical has also partnered with CMCSS and Joe Heitz in the Pass & Go event. They are giving away 12 laptop computers. When students register for the event they will also receive a jump drive. After they receive the jump drive they will be able to enter the Joe Heitz showroom to plug the jump drive into one of the computers. If the jump drive is a winner, the student will take home one of the twelve computers. Premier Medical will also be giving away other door prizes and William Beach Oil will be drawing for gas cards.

Registration for the Joe Heitz Pass & Go event will begin at 4 p.m. and end at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday when students will begin testing their keys to see who gets to drive away with the car.

Students will line up in order of their number to draw their key(s) from a jar. Included within the total number of keys will be twelve keys, which will open the car door and qualify the key holder as a finalist to draw from another jar of twelve keys, one of which will start the car and designate the winner of the Joe Heitz Pass and Go car.

"I am excited to be a part of this program." says Joe Heitz "It¹s important to think outside the box and hopefully this will create a bigger incentive for students to enroll in AP classes."
