Maxine Fields has been named assistant principal at Cumberland Heights Elementary, replacing Cindy Adams who was appointed principal of Glenellen Elementary.  Fields has been assistant principal in a shared position at Kenwood and Northeast Elementary Schools. She will begin her duties immediately.  

Fields earned her M.A. in education from Trevecca Nazarene University and has also worked as a teacher at East Montgomery and Hazelwood Elementary schools.

Andy Lyons has been named assistant principal at Barkers Mill Elementary School, replacing Frances Ann Camp who is transferring to the new Rossview Elementary School for the next school year. Lyons will begin his duties for the 2009-10 school year.

Lyons earned his M.A. in education from Trevecca as well and has been working as an Academic Coach at West Creek Elementary School. Previously he served as a teacher at Barkers Mill and St. Bethlehem Elementary schools.

Theresa Muckleroy has been named assistant principal at Northwest High School, replacing Matthew Blake who was appointed principal of West Creek Middle School. Muckleroy has served as director of Exceptional Children Services.

Muckleroy has earned doctorate degrees in education and law from Tennessee State University and Nashville School of Law respectively. She previously served as assistant principal at Rossview High School and also is the former principal of Rossview Middle School.
