Students can apply for open enrollment in seven elementary schools for the 2009-10 school year. Applications are now available and must be returned to the School System Student Services Department by Feb. 6.

Schools and grade levels available for open enrollment include:

• Burt Elementary, fourth and fifth grades
• Byrns Darden Elementary, kindergarten through fifth grades
• Cumberland Heights Elementary, first and third grades
• East Montgomery Elementary, first and third grades
• Montgomery Central Elementary, kindergarten, first, third and fourth grades
• Moore Magnet School, kindergarten, first, second and fifth grades
• Woodlawn Elementary, kindergarten, first and fifth grades.
