Clarksville High School will be closed Thursday, Sept. 24 and Friday, Sept. 25 because of the high student absenteeism rate. CMCSS believes that this will have an impact on the learning environment and hope that giving students a few extra days to recuperate will provide them with an opportunity to get well and be ready for school on Monday.

Students, staff and faculty are asked to follow the recommendations set forth the by the Health Department which encourages people to wash their hands thoroughly and frequently.

Student participation in extracurricular practices, games and/or competitions is at the discretion of parents. Students will not be penalized for their absence due to illness.
