Margaret Hausauer has been selected as assistant principal at Norman Smith Elementary for the next school year. She will replace Pat Clemments, who is retiring at the end of this school year.

Mrs. Hausauer’s first assignment in CMCSS was in 1975 at Norman Smith Elementary. Throughout her career in CMCSS, she has served as both teacher and media specialist, most recently at Kenwood Elementary and currently at West Creek Elementary.

She earned her M.S. in education at Trevecca Nazarene and a B.S. in elementary education at George Peabody College. She also pursued degrees in special education and reading at Minot State College and Austin Peay State University, and earned her library sciences certificate from Middle Tennessee State University.
