Clarksville-Montgomery County School System recognizes the important connection between parent involvement and student achievement. Parents are a child’s first and most important teachers. Below you will find a comprehensive list of dates and other information that will impact your child’s education and school schedule.

Following are some important dates and other miscellaneous information to keep parents connected through the school year.

 

Checking Grades
A new program called PowerSchool allows parents to track their child’s grades, progress and attendance in every class. Passwords for parents to access their child’s account will be available at the schools.

 

Attendance
Making sure students are at school on time and allowing them to stay in school all day is beneficial to a child’s educational growth and development.

 

Elementary School Programs
Before and After School Programs
– elementary schools have a variety of before and after school programs
Vocabulary strategies - a language intervention program used to build the vocabulary base of students
Literacy Camp – a summer program for kindergarten through fifth students to help them read on grade level
Pathways – an intervention program designed to help struggling fifth grade students make a successful transition into  middle school
