10/20/2017   Trunk Or Treat
SGA is hosting Trunk or Treat Monday, October 30th, at 5 PM. Students Advisory classes with the most candy donations will win a breakfast. They need help handing out candy on 10/30, please sign up during lunch. Decorate your car and hand out some candy! They will have a car decoration competition with the following prizes: 1st Place: $100 Amazon Gift Card 2nd Place: $ 50 Gift Card 3rd Place: $ 25 Gift Card

Attn Sophomores: Do you have a desire to give back to our community through leadership and service? If so, then the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership program may be for you! WCHS will send one Sophomore student to a 3 day leadership conference in Nashville. Interested Sophomores should see Mrs. Perry to apply. The application deadline is Friday, November 3rd.

10/2/2017   FAFSA Online
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, is now open for current high school seniors to complete. In order to receive financial aid in college for the 2018-19 school year, current seniors must complete the FAFSA. All seniors should complete the FAFSA as soon as possible. Students who complete the application earliest are given first priority when it comes to the awarding of grant and scholarship money by state and federal government. Tennessee Promise students must file the FAFSA by January 16, 2018 to remain eligible for the scholarship. 9/15/2017   Credit Recovery
Credit Recovery will begin Mon, Sept 18, for those attending Monday & Wednesday. Saturday sessions will begin Sept 23. Mon & Wed from 2:30-4:30, Sat 8:00-12:00 Transportation will begin Oct 23. No transportation Thanksgiving week (Nov 20th-24th). Transportation for 1st semester ends December 14th & resumes Jan 8th. Transportation ends May 11th or sooner, depending on school needs.

Yearbooks are on sale! The cost is $70 until December 15, 2017. It is an additional $6 to personalize it and $3 per icon you want to add. There are a lot of new ways to make your 2018 yearbook your own this year. Go to jostensyearbooks.com or see Mrs. Holliday in the library to order.

Seniors who have not taken senior photos should contact Mrs. Holliday in the Library, right away. She has reserved the Clarksville Prestige studio on October 28th for WCHS only. Seniors need to sign up with Mrs. Holliday to be scheduled into one of the appointments on that day, but there are limited number of appointments available.

  Homework Hotline
Homework Hotline is open for 2016-17. Homework Hotline provides free tutoring by phone for any Tennessee student. Call us Monday – Thursday from 4:00 – 8:00 pm. We have all subjects – all the way to trigonometry, calculus, statistics, AP chemistry, and physics. Need help in Spanish? We’ve got it covered.   Driver Permit Worksheet SF-1010
Before your student goes to the DMV they will NEED an SF-1010 form that can be picked up in the front office. SF-1010 forms are denied if the student has more than 10 consecutive days or 15 total days missed unless excused, if the student is not passing at least 3 classes,or if the student owes the school any debt. The SF-1010 form will take 24 hours from the time the worksheet is turned in till the student can pick it up in the front office. The forms are only good for 30 days from the day the form is filled out. Students are only allowed two forms per semester.
