What is the STEM Academy at Kenwood High?
The STEM Academy is a career academy that focuses on STEM related fields. Students in the academy take integrated science, math, STEM education, and English courses during the 9th and 10th grade year. During the 11th and 12th grade year, students may continue with the focus on STEM Education or choose to become a part of the Mechatronics program, where they have the option of receiving the Siemens Level 1 certification, along with 16 college credits from Nashville State Community College.
