About Me

I was born and raised in Clarksville, TN and was a 1992 graduate of Clarksville High School. I am actually a second generation Wildcat and also have a daughter who graduated from CHS too! I received my Bachelor's Degree from Austin Peay State University and also received my Master's of Arts in Teaching at APSU. I worked in the business field for quite awhile before making a career change to teaching. 2017-2018 marks my 10th year teaching at CHS! I feel like I have real world experience that I can use to help my students grow and learn. I was fortunate to have had some knowledgeable teachers in my life who inspired me to do what I am doing today. My goal is to relay valuable information to my students that will help them in making educated academic and career decisions.

Students enrolled in business classes are encouraged to join FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America). This student-led organization offers high school students a chance at leadership, community involvement, and the necessary skills to pursue post-secondary education in the business field or dive directly into the job market.

Classroom Expectations

1.  Be punctual and prepared. To me... coming to class is like going to work.

2.  No eating or drinking in class. Computers don't mix well with drinks and crumbs.

3.  Respectfullness and politeness are just common sense

4.  Know that ALL school rules apply. NO CELL PHONES
