About Me

Bienvenidos, Prior to working as a language educator I served in the United States Army for 28 years and retired as a Sergeant Major. While in the military I joined the Troops to Teachers program to pursue my life dream of teaching. I completed my teaching certificate at APSU and I have a professional teaching license from the State of Tennessee. I hold a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Saint Martin's, WA. I have been married for thirty years to my lovely wife Linette and we have three adult children and two grandchildren. I'm excited to be a part of the Wildcats team and looking forward to meeting you. Hasta Luego!

Classroom Expectations

1.  Be on time and prepared for class.

2.  Do nothing that interrupts me from teaching.

3.  Do nothing that disrupts you from learning.

4.  Do nothing that distracts you from learning.

5.  Participate in all activities.

6.  Ask questions when you do not understand.

7.  Respect all school/classroom rules, procedures and expectations.

8.  Try and have fun.

9.  If you don't have anything nice to say, remain quiet.

10.  Listen with the intent to understand.

11.  One person speaks and the others listen.

12.  Suggest cute gestures (During TPRS).

13.  Tell the teacher when I am not being clear (Follow proper procedure).
