About Me

I love to learn and enjoy helping others find joy in learning. It's my firm belief that every student can learn and I'll do all I can to help them achieve success. I'm a lifelong resident of Montgomery County and graduated from Montgomery Central High. I earned a B.S. in Family & Consumer Science from TN State University in 2011 and a M.Ed. with a concentration in Special Education from Lipscomb University in 2015. I started at Kenwood High in 2016 and am proud to be a Knight. My husband and I have been married for 20 years and have 3 teenagers in the CMCSS school district.

Classroom Expectations

1.  Be responsible: arrive on time with needed materials, ready to learn.

2.  Do your best at all times.

3.  Respect yourself and others.

4.  Remember this: There are NO “dumb” questions. If you need help ASK. You ARE important. It’s okay to be wrong, it’s how you learn. Hard is not impossible; you CAN learn. I believe in each and every one of you!
