About Me

This is my 24th year at Northwest High School. I graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1987 with a Major in Spanish and a minor in Psychology. I have a daughter who attending the University of Tennessee at Martin. I have a son who has recently been discharged from the Army and is now attending APSU. I hope students will enjoy the topics covered in my classes. I want them to have as much fun learning these topics as I do.

We are back to another full week. So far in Spanish we have learned to introduce ourselves, ask for information about others and we have learned to describe ourselves and others.

This week we will be learning about the Mexican Holiday Día de Independencia aka Grito de Dolores.

As August comes to an end we are looking forward to a great year. Make sure you are asking your students about what is being discussed in class. This will help them remember material learned and will help them realize what they need to study more.

Classroom Expectations

0.  1. Be on time. 2. Be prepared. 3. Be ready to learn. 4. Respect others. 5. Do your best

2.  Come to class prepared - every day. Turn in your work. The ONLY reason a student is EVER unsuccessful is because he or she does NOT turn in work.
