About Me

I have lived in Tennessee for 25+ years and been involved with teaching music to young people since 1980 in churches first and then in the public school system since 1995. I have a Bachelor of Music from Kent State University and a Master of Educational Leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University. I am a past president for the Middle Tennessee Orff-Schulwerk Association, my favorite method of teaching music. I also direct the Sango Elementary Honor Choir and work with the Sango Strings club. I enjoy singing and playing guitar. My other loves include my family, reading good books, and camping.

Way to go Third Graders! Your performance of Once on a Housetop was terrific. I am proud of your efforts. Many thanks to all the speakers and their teachers for the hard work!
