About Me

I have lived in Tennessee for 30+ years and been involved with teaching music to young people since 1980, in churches first and then in the public school system since 1995. I have a Bachelor of Music from Kent State University and a Master of Educational Leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University. I am an active member of the Middle Tennessee Orff-Schulwerk Association, my favorite method of teaching music. My husband and I have two grown daughters, both former Sango students, who are employed in the medical field. I enjoy singing and playing guitar. My other loves include my family, reading, knitting, and camping.

Just wanted to let you parents know about Camp Granada, at APSU. It is a music camp that I know your children will love. I am including a link to their website for you to learn more: http://www.apsu.edu/granada/about-camp-granada

Have a great summer!!

What a great ending to our Honor Choir year! Performances at Sango Showcase and at Rivers and Spires were exceptional. Well done students! 4th grade gets a break now, but we will still have practice for 5th grade honor choir students as we prepare for graduation.
