I have lived in Tennessee for 30+ years and been involved with teaching music to young people since 1980 in churches first and then in the public school system since 1995. I have a Bachelor of Music from Kent State University and a Master of Educational Leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University. I am a past president for the Middle Tennessee Orff-Schulwerk Association, my favorite method of teaching music. I also direct the Sango Elementary Honor Choir, work with the Sango Strings and the Drama club. I enjoy singing and playing guitar. My other loves include my family, reading good books, and camping.
Many thanks to all the performing groups at Sango for finishing the year so strongly. Great job, Honor Choir and Sango Strings. Drama Club also gave a terrific performance of Treasure Island!! Looking forward to new members in all our performance teams. Have a great summer.
