About Me

I have lived in Tennessee for 30+ years and been involved with teaching music to young people since 1980, in churches first and then in the public school system since 1995. I have a Bachelor of Music from Kent State University and a Master of Educational Leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University. I am an active member of the Middle Tennessee Orff-Schulwerk Association, my favorite method of teaching music. My husband and I have two grown daughters, both former Sango students, who are employed in the medical field. I enjoy singing and playing guitar. My other loves include my family, reading, knitting, and camping.

Wow, a new year is upon us and I am so excited to see my Sango students again. I love summer but I am ready to get back to a regular routine as I'm sure all of you are. Keep your eyes and ears open for information about clubs and instruments as we begin the year. Looking forward to seeing all of you soon!
