About Me

I have lived in Tennessee for 25+ years and been involved with teaching music to young people since 1980 in churches first and then in the public school system since 1995. I have a Bachelor of Music from Kent State University and a Master of Educational Leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University. I serve as president for the Middle Tennessee Orff-Schulwerk Association, my favorite method of teaching music. I also direct the Sango Elementary Honor Choir. I love to sing and play guitar and enjoy teaching both to students. My other loves include my family, reading good books, and camping.

Fifth graders should select a toddler picture and turn it in to me for this year's promotion video.

Fourth graders need to have their recorders whenever they come to music for this second half of the year.

Mr. Daniel Milner has joined me for the second semester. He is a student teacher from APSU. His instrument of choice is the french horn. I know you will join me in welcoming him to Sango Elementary.
