About Me

This is my tenth year teaching and my tenth year here at West Creek. We are definitely 'Readers Ahead of the Pack!' I completed an endorsement in Educational Leadership at Trevecca University. I received my M.Ed. from Vanderbilt in Elementary Education. My undergraduate years were spent at The Ohio State University where I received my BS in Human Ecology: Early Childhood Development and minors in Education and Spanish. As I am from Ohio, I was born and raised a Buckeye which was a little hard coming to an SEC area but I make it work. Currently, I reside here with my husband, our daughter, Adalyn, and furry son, Rex. I have truly enjoyed being a part of a departmentalized grade level. Taking on the role of a math and science teacher is exciting and challenging at the same time. I am looking forward to the school year to come and all of the exciting learning that will take place.

We are back!!!

Many ask if there is anything else we need for our classroom, so I thought I would make a little wishlist here. I truly appreciate any donations and help in the classroom. It helps tremendously!

-Paper towels

-Clorox/Lysol Wipes

-Candy treats - hershey kisses, skittles, starbursts.

-Color printer paper

-Items for our Coyote Store - dollar section items, bubbles, puzzles, little games, toy cars, etc.
