About Me

¡Bienvenidos a Español! I am very excited to be with West Creek High School. I am a graduate of Texas State University and have taught Spanish for almost six years now. I believe that in order to truly learn a language, one must hear it, speak it and always practice it. This year we will focus on listening, speaking, reading and writing about topics students can relate to. We will also cover Spanish culture and art themes throughout the year. I absolutely love teaching Spanish and love teaching at the secondary school level. I believe that this is my true calling. I look forward to a wonderful 2017-2018 year! Por Favor (please) check my website for classroom updates and information throughout the year.

The syllabus is up for Spanish 1 & 3 under the Classroom Links tab. Please read through this carefully with your student. I will post a "Signature of Agreement" link by the end of the first school week after I have gone over the syllabus with the students. You may also print the last page and return it with your student.
