Parents Representatives Communications Group
CMCSS is committed to effective and efficient communications with parents. The School Parent Representatives Communications Group consists of one parent from each of the district’s
39 schools. The group meets monthly through the school year to learn about district processes, announcements and pertinent timely initiatives that affect the 32,500 students we serve.
Parents disseminate this information with their representative school group. The Parent group also posts the district question of the month at each school with the opportunity for
parents at that school to weigh in on critical topics, such as the Student Code of Conduct; the district’s mission and vision; and whether CMCSS is successfully preparing all students
for college or careers.
Principals seek out and select their schools’ representatives in August of each school year. For more information on the group, contact Deb Cummings at email@example.com.
