As a parent what should I complete, sign, return or have ready for my child at the beginning of school?
All grade level teams have posted their information and expectations packets and you can access them from the Curriculum and Guidance page on this website. Please read over the information and follow all instructions for completion of it. If you need further assistance please email your child's teacher with specific questions.

What are the times of registration for the 2017-2018 school year?
We are open during regular school hours for transferring or new students to register. For additional information about our schools or information about zoning or transportation, visit the CMCSS website at You may also register your child online via the CMCSS main website. If your student is new to Clarksville-Montgomery County Schools, or are transferring between schools, enroll online by visiting

Do you allow volunteers to help in the library?
We are always excited when one of our parents or a grandparent wishes to volunteer in our very busy library. Your assistance is always greatly appreciated since we are a school that believes in reading. We often check out 500 to 750 books daily, and any help with shelving or arranging of our books is always welcomed.

Do Kindergarten and 1st grade students need a change of clothing?
It might be a good idea for your Kindergarten or 1st grade student to have a change of clothing at school just in case they have some sort of accident and need a fresh change of clothing.

Do teachers have wish lists or classroom needs?
Yes! They often do. In the beginning of the year you will often see one posted outside a teacher's doorway or on paperwork he or she sends home. You can check your teacher's website too, he or she may have something listed on there. We always appreciate every donated item no matter how large or small.

How can we help with materials for class learning?
The classrooms are always in need of consumable items such as: Plastic baggies (large and small) Pipe cleaners Coffee filters Batteries (all sizes) Tape (lots of tape! Masking, packing, etc) Paper clips Baby wipes (any kind or size) Glue paper (filler notebook paper) crayons Non-consumable items needed Timers Stop watches Plastic bowls scissors

What are the hours for an early dismissal day?
On days that are early dismissal days-- the time of school will be 8:50 to 1:30.

What time are children dismissed as CAR RIDERS on a regular school day?
Car rider dismissal(CAR TAGS REQUIRED) begins at 3:35 p.m. each day and ends at 3:55 p.m. AFTER 3:55 p.m. each day any student who has not been picked up in the car circle will be TRANSFERRED to the office area where a parent must come in and sign for their child at that time.

Will you have bookfairs this year?
Yes! Our schedule for this 2017-2018 year Book fair # 1 Sept. 7- Sept. 15 We will only have one book fair this year.

How can I know what is going on each month?
West Creek is very good at sending out a newsletter and since we are trying to GO GREEN and help our environment we only publish those every two months, and they are also published online here at the website. Teachers send home newsletters too so that you may keep up with individual classroom activities. West Creek also has a Facebook now where we try to share many things of interest to your family. You can access our Facebook page by simply clicking the Facebook icon on the front of our website.
