Pre-Kindergarten Enrollment Period Extended

Any child who will be 4 years old on or before September 30, 2012 and who lives in Clarksville-Montgomery County is eligible to attend the district’s Pre-kindergarten. If you have a child who is eligible, please go to The Learning Center between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on April 24th, 25th, or 26th to apply. Applications will be taken for the following elementary schools: Barksdale, Cumberland Heights, Byrns Darden, Hazelwood, Kenwood, Liberty, Montgomery Central, Moore Magnet, Norman Smith, Ringgold, Rossview, and Woodlawn.

**Availability is very limited and priority is given to the economically disadvantaged.

Parents should bring the following to registration:

  • Proof of residence within the district (contract on house, lease agreement, actual title to house, or current utility bill indicating the address and the adult’s name.)
  • Child’s official birth certificate
  • Child’s immunization record (TN Certificate of Immunization)
  • Child’s social security card
  • Two proofs of current gross income

The following documents are acceptable:

Income Tax form 1040A or 1040, Food Stamps, LES, Social Security/SSI, TN Care Verification, Veteran’s Benefit Letter, W-2 Form, Unemployment Compensation, Verification of pay by employer, AFDC/ Public Assistance Payment, Child Support, Verification of Families First, or Transitional Families First

*Active military must provide a current LES as one proof of income
