Pre-K Kickoffs Begin in March

Eligibility Requirements:

Children must be four years old before or on August 15, 2014 and reside in Clarksville-Montgomery County to be eligible for 2014 -15 CMCSS Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten.

Parents must apply for their child to be considered for placement.

Kickoffs will be held at each of the following schools between 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. on the dates listed below.  Please apply at your zoned school.

Glenellen Elementary School

Northeast Elementary School


March 12

West Creek Elementary School

Liberty Elementary School

Woodlawn Elementary School


March 13

Minglewood Elementary School

Kenwood Elementary School


March 18

Byrns L. Darden Elementary School

Ringgold Elementary School

Hazelwood Elementary School


March 19

Moore Magnet School

Barksdale Elementary School

St. Bethlehem Elementary School

If not listed above, you may apply at the following schools:

Barkers Mill Elementary School at West Creek Elementary School

Pisgah Elementary Schools at Hazelwood Elementary School

Sango, Rossview, and Carmel Elementary School at St. Bethlehem Elementary School.


** Pre-K is not a mandatory program; therefore, it is not offered at all school sites.  There is limited space at the participating schools.


Please bring the following documents with you when you apply for Pre-K:

1. Official birth certificate

2. Updated TN Certificate of Immunization

3. Physical

4. Proof of residency in Clarksville-Montgomery County (utility bill,

rental agreement, lease, or mortgage)

5. Verification of household  income (2 sources)

(Income Tax form 1040 or W-2, Social Security/SSI, Veteran’s Benefit Letter, Unemployment Compensation, Child Support, Verification of Families First and/or Transitional Families First

A current LES is required for active military.

Availability is limited and placement is not guaranteed.

Any falsification of information concerning income, residence, birth certificate and/or completion of the application and other forms may be reason for dismissal.
