Pre-K Application Opportunities for the 2020-21 School Year

CMCSS Pre-K Application Events have been canceled. Parents and guardians may complete the online application linked below. After completing the application, a member of the Pre-K team will contact you via email to set up a Zoom meeting to verify income and the child’s birth certificate. If you did not provide your email when you submitted your online application previously, please email Melinda Smith at [email protected].
To apply online, use one of the following application links:
Students must be 4 years old on or before August 15, 2020 to be enrolled in Pre-K for the 2020-21 school year. Families will be asked to provide documentation to determine if they meet the income requirements set by the state. Pre-K classes will be filled using the guidelines set forth by the State of Tennessee for Voluntary Pre-K.
You will be required to bring the child’s birth certificate and any of the documents listed below that are required to verify student eligibility.
Documents to verify program status:
- Current Food Stamp eligibility letter
- Migrant status letter
- Foster Care Documentation
- Families First Documentation
Documents to verify income: (only if you do not qualify for any programs listed above)
- 2019 W2 or 1040
- 2 recent Military LES
- 2 recent pay stubs
- Unemployment Benefits
- Veteran’s Benefits
- Any other documentation to verify source of income used to determine eligibility
