Pre-K Application Opportunities for the 2020-21 School Year

The Clarksville-Montgomery County School System will be hosting application events for 2020-21 Pre-K classes. All application events will be held at CMCSS Central Services South, located at 1312 Highway 48/13, Clarksville, TN 37040.
For students zoned to Barksdale, Byrns Darden, East Montgomery, Glenellen, Kenwood, Liberty, Moore, Norman Smith, Pisgah, Rossview, St. Bethlehem, or West Creek:
Monday, April 6 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
*Thursday, April 16 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
For students zoned to Barkers Mill, Carmel, Cumberland Heights, Hazelwood, Minglewood, Montgomery Central, Northeast, Oakland, Ringgold, Sango, or Woodlawn:
*Tuesday, April 7 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Wednesday, April 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
For students zoned to any CMCSS elementary school (open session):
Wednesday, April 22 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
*Spanish interpreters will be available.
You will be required to bring the child’s birth certificate and any of the documents listed below that are required to verify student eligibility.
Documents to verify program status:
- Current Food Stamp eligibility letter
- Migrant status letter
- Foster Care Documentation
- Families First Documentation
Documents to verify income: (only if you do not qualify for any programs listed above)
- 2019 W2 or 1040
- 2 recent Military LES
- 2 recent pay stubs
- Unemployment Benefits
- Veteran’s Benefits
- Any other documentation to verify source of income used to determine eligibility
Students must be 4 years old on or before August 15, 2020 to be enrolled in Pre-K for the 2020-21 school year. Families will be asked to provide documentation to determine if they meet the income requirements set by the state. Pre-K classes will be filled using the guidelines set forth by the State of Tennessee for Voluntary Pre-K.
