DIFFERENCE

Clarksville-Montgomery County School System is the seventh-largest district in Tennessee, with nearly 38,000 students. We are committed to educating all students to reach their potential while preparing them to be college and career-ready. What does this mean for our district? It means innovation, creativity, and collaboration.

THE DEFINING DIFFERENCE IS OUR PEOPLE

Innovation

Innovation is not just a word at CMCSS. It’s a core value. It can be seen in our efforts to recruit and train the next generation of educators through our Teacher Residency Program.  It’s evident in how we rethink preparing our students for cutting-edge careers, introducing them to cybersecurity, drone operations, and multiple foreign languages. District leadership is acutely aware of the need for our students to be prepared for today’s ever-changing landscape and pushed to have the entire district a 1:1 technology school.

Creativity

Our educators take great pride in developing creative ways to unlock a student’s imagination. At CMCSS, we believe that every student has a unique need and academic journey. It is our goal to guide them along the path towards success. We are looking for individuals who are dedicated to student achievement.

Collaboration

Success is often achieved through collaborative efforts. At CMCSS, we see this in the way our employees develop out-of-the-box thinking to everyday concerns. Our employee-led collaborative efforts include partnerships between Operations and Special Populations to create specially designed internship programs for students. If you are a team-oriented leader, CMCSS is a space to grow your skills and be a change agent in public education.
