Register for your Student’s Laptop Online

A parent/guardian may complete all necessary forms for student laptop registration and (if applicable) pay fees by visiting For students new to CMCSS, a claim code can be requested 24 hours after registration by clicking the button at the bottom of the registration page that says “If you do not have a claim code, click here.”

Student Work Orders

All concerns about laptop maintenance need to be reported immediately to the CMCSS Technology Department through a technology work order. Do not take the laptop to any third party repair shops or attempt to perform any repairs on your own. Once you have placed a technology work order, a member of the CMCSS Technology Department will contact you to pick up your device for service.

Students in middle and high school will be assigned Lenovo ThinkPads (dimensions: 11.81” x 8.27” x 0.88” inches) or Dell Latitudes (dimensions 12.75″ x 9″) .

CMCSS at Nashville State Community College (NSCC)

CMCSS at NSCC provides opportunities for juniors and seniors in high school to earn certifications in pathways not currently offered in traditional CMCSS high schools.
Students attend core classes at their zoned high school from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., then attend pathway classes on the campus of NSCC from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
School system transportation is not provided for students attending classes at NSCC.

CMCSS at NSCC Admission Requirements:

– CMCSS Student
– 2.3 GPA or higher
– Maturity for a college environment
– Good attendance and behavior
– On track to graduate

The following programs are offered at CMCSS at NSCC:

Early Childhood Education Technical Certification

This program prepares students for employment in the field of child care or early education. Students can use TNPromise funding to complete one year of classes at NSCC after high school in order to earn an Associate of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education degree.

Logistics Technical Certifications

This program prepares students for employment in the supply chain management field, including current laws and ethical issues related to large scale purchase,
transport and storage of materials. In addition to the Logistics Technical Certificate, students will also have the opportunity to earn the Transportation Technical Certificate and the Supply Chain Technical Certificate.
