Charter Schools

According to state law, nonprofit organizations with the intent to open a charter school in a Tennessee school district must apply through the local School Board for that district for authorization. The CMCSS Charter Review Committee thoroughly reviews applications and makes recommendations to the School Board. The School Board approves or denies applications.
