The following Teacher Residency Pipelines are in progress and not available for the current school year.

Elementary Middle Teacher Residency (EMTR)

3-year program

Earn a Bachelor’s in Education, Teaching Certification, and Licensure
Dual Certification: Elementary or Middle Grades Math or Science Certification and Special Education Certification through Austin Peay State University

As a resident, you will work as an educational assistant in a CMCSS Title One school while taking education courses through Austin Peay State University. Through this experience, you will receive job training and mentoring with a highly qualified mentor teacher.

Early Learning Teacher Resident (ELTR)

3-year program

Earn a Bachelor’s in Education, Teaching Certification, and Licensure
Dual Certification: Elementary Certification and Special Education through Austin Peay State University

As a resident, you will work as an educational assistant in CMCSS Title One school while taking education courses through Austin Peay State University. Through this experience, you will receive on the job training and mentoring with a highly qualified mentor teacher. 

Lipscomb Teacher Residency (LTR) 2020-21

1.5-year program

Earn a Master’s in Education, Teaching Certification, and Licensure
Dual Certification: Elementary and Special Education through Lipscomb University

Year 1: As a resident, you will work as an educational assistant in a CMCSS Title One school while taking education courses through Lipscomb University. Through this experience, you will receive on-the-job training and mentoring with a highly qualified mentor teacher.

Year 2: You will be placed in a CMCSS Title One classroom as a teacher while continuing to complete licensure requirements.

Clarksville Teaching Fellows

1-year program

Earn your Teaching Certification and Licensure
Certification: Middle grades or Secondary certification in Math or English/Language Arts

Year 1: As a resident, you will work as an educational assistant in a CMCSS Title One school while taking education courses through Lipscomb University. Through this experience, you will receive on the job training and mentoring with a highly qualified mentor teacher.
